CCW GENESIS Live from the Messiah Complex in Lakeland, FL. 4/25
RESULTS
- Last time on Christ Centered Wrestling, Rochelle and Faith announced that Genesis would be getting its own Tag Title division with its own belt, Toxic was interested. Aliyah and Annica Greene blindsided them and stole a victory while Rarity and Jade danced. But now, present day, Toxic arrives in a limosuine to the building for Genesis. Gods Favorite Tag Team is in the building!!!!!!
- Skye Morrison and Cynthia Slade def. Adam Devlin and Cai Yukiko.
- This one went a bit one sided because Devlin and Yukiko were too busy showering one another with affection. After a flurry of offense from Slade and Morrison, Devlin and Yukiko instead stopped mid match to make out on the apron. Slade would grab Devlin up and hit him with her finisher, before Morrison does her own and pins him! After the match they celebrate while Yukiko straddles Devlin and they continue, unbothered.
- We're backstage with Barbara North and its time for her segment, we're going North with Barbara North. Barbara goes over the show so far, with Cynthia and Skye showing themselves to be a viable team. Toxic is in the building, what will happen? Alexis Ortega is in action, will there be a response after the Baes attack on the Chest Club, Bambi defends her Divine Championship against a stacked deck, and the Unholy Sundaes appear in our main event as Rachel Carpenter defends against the newcomer Brianna Leigh Clark... What a night we have, and Babs will be here to talk about all of it tonight as it happens!
- Neve Marx w/ Casper Cole def. Romeo De La Rocha.
- Romeo De La Rocha would attempt to use his flirtation skills to win over Neve throughout, even coming to the ring with flowers. Neve goes tf off, saying she has a man by choice, not because she needs one and goes tf off on him! She beats him up in the ring causing him to cover up. De La Rocha gets free at one point with a surprise finish and rolls her up but Neve kicks out. A bit more back and forth, with Casper tripping Romeo up at one point, allowing Neve to hit her finish and pin the man late into the match!
- We're back with Celeste De La Cruz in the back doing an interview with Toxic. Luna and Trixie say they're here to scout the competition and see if the Genesis Tag Championships are worth, or if they should focus on Rarity and Jade. Teams of Genesis, watch this space, according to them.
- Alexis Ortega def. Average Joe and Illania Karn
- Alexis Ortega would steal a victory here when it looked as if Illania Karn was about to put Average Joe away. Alexis throws Illania into a ring post, nails her finishing maneuver on Joe and gets the pinfall! A big, stolen victory, but a big one nevertheless. Her, Astrid Weston and Corrie Tomsen celebrate their win in the ring when the titantron begins to flash.
- Lourdes Hawthorne, Genesa Godiva and Arden Raine, the Chest Club, hit the ring with their Trios Championships and send Alexis, Astrid and Corrie flying. The Baes are screeching this isn't over as the Chest Club taunts them from afar to end the segment.
- Laycee Laine is in the back when she meets the Chest Club coming through after their surprise attack on the Baes. They say if the Baes want a shot, all they had to do was ask, but they'll grant it anyway, in spite of how they went about it. At the next pay per view, Chest Club vs. Killer Baes, Trios Championships.
- Bianca Bello def. Georgia Lancaster
- This one saw lots of interference from Shroud on behalf of Bello, leading to Georgia to get overwhelmed in spite of the help of her sister Greenly. Ultimately, in the end we saw Bianca Bello come out on top after a distraction lead her to catching Lancaster with her finish.
- Hunter Kingman w/ Valeria def. Howie Doo
- Howie Doo would be beaten down by Hunter during this, with Hunter singling out the old man in the center of the ring. At points, the crowd would actually turn against Hunter somewhat for her brutal treatment of the old man. Eventually, Hunter would put Howie Doo away with her finishing maneuver and get the victory. After the match, she celebrated with Valeria, before suddenly going to attack Howie again before referees and CCW staff got in here to break it up.
- The issues between Felicity Cash and Jax Champlin continued as Jax was mid cutting a promo about refocusing when Felicity and Colton attack her from behind. Felicity says she's done when she says she is! Then Felicity has Colton put Champlin through a table to end the segment.
- Cartier def. Kitana Price via disqualification.
- This one never got off the ground as Kitanas stable mates, Kianna Blake and Ashley LeShae jumped Cartier as the bell rang. They proceed to beat her down in the center of the ring and hit their tandem finish upon her. Once they do this though, it's announced Cartier won by disqualification, leading Kitana to putting Cartier through a table... Afterwards, the three of them stand tall, but it's for sure Cartier isn't going to take this, right?!
- Back in the ring we see the new Genesis Tag Team Championships, with Rochelle Emerson announcing a three way match for them will occur at the next pay per view, with the teams being announced soon. Though one spot will be held for Toxic if they so choose to come for them, rather than the Revelation brands belts. Toxic cut a promo saying they may just take them all, who knows, when we see Santana Johnson and Lisa Seldon appear on stage, the former CCW Champions looking on and suggesting they would take those belts. Toxic says for them to bring it as they exchange words back and forth, with Santana getting a knife and moving towards them, while Luna and Trixie decide to leave to end the segment!
- Jesse Morgan def. Sally Murphy.
- These two had a epic back and forth but the veteran Jesse Morgan would pull one out on Sally late into the match, rolling her up and hooking her tights to get the pinfall victory. Then weirdly slapping her butt as she jumped out of the ring to celebrate. Sally yelled this wasn't over, not liking how that ending had went, because for much of the match it looked as if Sally were to score an upset... but it didn't come to pass, not this night.
- We're in the back with the Divine Champion, Bambi, who has some battle scars from her defense in Maimstream just last night. But now she's here to defend her title and remain Bambi 2 Belts. Vanessa and Bodhi, she's beat them before, and Man Like Malik? Well, they're all going to Lose Like Malik, to her.
- Cheyenne Walker def. Brody Howitzer
- Cheyenne Walker was pissed that her twitter had been suspended but she was here for a fight. Brody gave a valiant effort against her and it looked as if he might score an upset over the cocky newcomer. But at one point, Sienna Sharpe leaps onto the apron to distract him, leading to Chey to come up behind him and drop Brody with her finish. A hell of an effort from Brody but ultimately, CHEY was the victor.
- Rochelle Emerson was in the back when she walked in on Faith bent over a desk yelling oh god. She looks and sees nothing, and Faith looks awkward. Faith says God was here and Rochelle just sighs and backs out of the room in horror.
- Alora Noor & Leila Amari def. Brew Collar (Deadeye Weston and Jack Danielson)
- Deadeye Weston was suffering from depression due to Howie Doos career being ended, and it took him a moment early on to get going. But finally, he would fire up and tear away from Leila and Alora who had kept him centered for most of the match. Jack gets tagged in and cleans house, then tags Deadeye in to hit Leila with their finish... Deadeye says life isn't worth living without Howie Doo and Jack tries to snap him out of it. Alora clotheslines Jack out of the ring then they hit their tandem finish on Deadeye Weston!!! The Golden Babes pin Brew Collar!!!
- Bambi (c) def. Vanessa Page, Man Like Malik and Bodhi in an Elimination Match to retain the Divine Championship.
- Bambi would make quick work of Vanessa Page and eliminate her early on, while she stepped back to let Malik and Bodhi fight it out. The champion observed after a back and forth where it looked like Bodhi might get the big pinfall that's eluded her. Only for Malik to hit his Move Like DDT and take Bodhi out. Impressed, from here, Bambi and Malik had a grappling showcase. It looked at several points like Malik was going to win, overpowering the champion with near falls. But the end came with Bambi slipping out of one of his moves and dropping him with a DDT of her own! A Slit Split from the top and Bambi retained her gold!
- After the match, Siberia Zombie was seen watching on from the backstage area... did the former World Champion have interest in Bambi?!
- Rachel Carpenter (c) w/ Essence def. Brianna Leigh Clark to retain the CCW Television Championship.
- This match saw Brianna Leigh Clark power through much of it, using her superior bulk to keep Rachel on the offensive. At one point in the match, it looked as if Brianna had it only for Rachel to slip off her shoulders and duck to the outside. Once out there by following her, BLC and Essence had words, the two powerhouses staring eachother down. The two went chest to chest, big meaty women slapping meat. When Rachel comes off the apron and hurricanranas BLC into some steps! At one point, BLC did manage to come out of this, hitting her finish on Rachel for a almost three but Essence interrupted by hitting him in the face with a Sundae. As the referee yelled at Essence, Rachel would catch her with her own finish out of nowhere and hook the leg... 1... 2... 3!
- Brianna Leigh Clark looked dejected as she sat up in the ring, while Essence and Rachel celebrated. Brianna gets up, angrily and shoves both of the Sundaes. Then Rachel and Essence go on the attack, mixed reactions from the crowd for the typically babyface team... then RAPTOR hits the ring and both of the Sundaes run off. Raptor checks on BLC and helps her up, before yelling he wants that belt, pointing at Essence. Essence asks which belt, pointing to the one holding up her pants and then takes it off, yelling take it. But Raptor clarifies to end the show.
