COUNTDOWN WITH CHRIST:
CCW and Maimstream rosters both represented.

Are you tired of seeing us yet? Well this is the last one for a little while and we were back with Countdown With Christ, with several matches leading up to the first match of 2022... the Gift of God match! We open with Kaz Bonham taking on Skull Kid #1, right into the action as a mix of CCW and Maimstream announcers call things with Andrew McAllister, Saylor Stanhouse and Lazlo Goodlove on commentary!

KAZ BONHAM vs. SKULL KID #1

We open strong with Kaz Bonham in action against Skull Kid #1 who is still trying to score that big singles push. But Kaz Bonham is coming in with a head full of fire!
It's a solid back and forth contest between both parties, with each side trading near falls throughout. But the end finally comes when Kaz Bonham is going to hit her finish on Skull Kid #1...
But Skull Kid #1 slips out of it and turns it into his own finisher! Skull Kid #1 hooks the leg and to the shock of everyone gets the 3! THE PUSH HAS BEGUN.

After their attack on the Big Titty Committee and the Chest Club last week, the Killer Baes - the trio of Alexis Ortega, Corrie Tomsen and Astrid Weston hit the ring. The three of them are proud of what they did and taunt about it before they're soon answered by the Chest Club - Arden Raine, Lourdes Hawthorne and Genesa Godiva, who all come to the ring. They're about ready to fight when the Big Titty Committee theme music hits and soon, Kitana Price, Ashley LeShae and Kianna Blake come out. Things look like they're about to get out of control, before finally Rochelle Emerson and Faith McKinsey come out to control the situation. They say that if they wanna fight, then save it because in January they'll be all fighting for the new CCW Trios Championship. All three groups look amused before referees get in between them all to keep them from just breaking into war to end the segment.

SIMON KATCH vs. CAMILA VAINE

Camila Vaine was out here with Simon Katch representing Maimstream, and this was a good one between a upcoming youngster in Katch and a Maimstream mainstay in Vaine.
Vaine would surprise the bigger, stronger Katch with a flurry of offense taking control later into the match. Eventually, Vaine would be too quick for Katch and hit her finishing maneuver on him to gain the pinfall victory.

Brennan Devlin was in the backstage area sitting at a table with CCW newcomer, Canadian wrestling royalty Veronica Levandrier where Brennan asks if she knows what the most powerful weapon in the world is. Veronica looks confused and he pulls out a pencil, Veronica seems confused and he says she needs to stab her next opponent with it and show some tenacity. Veronica is confused as she weirdly has to listen to Brennans strange wisdom to end the segment.

RICKI WILDE'S OPEN CHALLENGE

Ricki Wilde has another open challenge but it doesn't go according to plan this time, as it's interrupted by Noelle Laurent... and then Maciie Fatale. All three similar looking women gaze eachother down.
Before any of them can fight, Winston Caruthers comes out and says they all skipped him in line and he will be fighting Ricki Wilde.
Instead of fighting Ricki Wilde though, Ricki, Noelle and Maciie all turn on Winston and beat him down viciously to end the segment.

We come back to the backstage area where Corey Maim is talking with Dove Van Damme. He asks who was that last week that she'd sicced on Christian Kincaid. Dove smiles and waves it off, just calling the gentleman in question her insurance policy in case she needs an extra 'hand'. Corey looks confused as they go back to watch the rest of the program unfold.

PANDORA NOVARRO vs. CARTIER

Pandora was doing her best in this match as she always does, but once again was just outclassed by Cartier throughout this thing.
The former Combat Crown Champion would ultimately hit her finish on Pandora early into the match and score the pinfall over the young athlete.

We're in the backstage area again as Allister Meowly has set up a chair in front of a monitor, when asked why, she mentions that Tera Taylor is up next and... well, cats are never done with birds.

TERA TAYLOR vs. CYNTHIA vs. AZI

This was a good one between several well known names in CCW, with Azi controlling a lot of the early match, seemingly making a brief alliance with Cynthia as the two heels relentlessly go at Tera.
But at one point, Azi throws Cynthia off the fallen Tera to try to steal the win, this is when they begin having an issue. Both shove eachother and break into a fight.
Tera would knock Azi out of the ring and then hit her finish on Cynthia to score a near fall, taking control of the contest, but as Tera goes for a top rope maneuver she sees Allister Meowly on stage.
Tera hops out of the ring and goes to approach Meowly, the two exchanging words before we have them break out into a brawl!
Both women fight into the backstage area while back in the ring, Azi is attacking Cynthia. She pulls Cynthia up but Cynthia gives her a thumb to the eyes! Cynthia then hits her finisher on Azi and holy fuck, Cynthia just pinned the former multiple time Combat Crown Champion!!!

The new CCW Undisputed Champion of our CCW Genesis brand, Santana Johnson is in the back yelling. He says he'll be a bomb ass champion and that no one will stop him. Then he's met by Lisa Seldon who's all congratulations, and Santana is all thank you Lisa Seldon and the segment ends.

The camera quickly flashes over to Heather Haze as the sultry vixen poses sexily for the cameras.

BODHI vs. RUBY RED

Ruby Red had been destroying peoples worlds lately and tonight she was in action against Bodhi. Bodhi would bring the fight to the veteran grappler as she always did.
But Ruby Red was ready, using her muscular frame to overpower the more quick Bodhi. But Bodhi would flip her way out of it and roll Ruby up at one point for a nearfall.
Ruby would get frustrated at this, as Cole Black watched on. Ruby would hoist Bodhi up at one point only for Bodhi to slip free again and go on the outside to put distance between her and Ruby.
Bodhi backs into the massive Cole Black which causes her to hit the ring to avoid a possible beatdown from the big man, only for her to walk right into Ruby's finishing maneuver and a three count!

Lola and Noah Weaver are in the back with Lola sitting on his lap, the Couples Champions remark that there's a lot of discourse around the Couples Crown event coming up... but since they're Couples Champions, it's their choice to be involved or not and they'll be sitting the tournament out. But don't worry, seeing as how the winner gets a shot at their belts, they know they'll be seeing them. But for now, they're going to focus on the events ahead, like their next defense, the one after that, and that... the happy couple kisses to end the segment.

VANESSA PAGE vs. RIMADONNA w/ ASTRAEA

Vanessa Page is up next and she's taking on the Rimadonna in singles action. The Slay Belles have seemingly had a bone to pick with the young Page, and this is no exception.
Page puts in a valiant fight but with repeated distractions from Astraea on the outside, even when she'd gain momentum such as one point in the match when she hit her finisher and would be about to score a fall, Astraea would somehow interrupt her pin from the outside.
When the referee is arguing with Astraea and about to send her to the back at one point, Vanessa taunts Astraea but Rimadonna slams Vanessa into a ring post shoulder first. From there, Vanessa is hoisted up as Rimadonna hits her finisher and scores the victory.

Yara Yami is in the back with her MVP, Chase Devlin, and they discuss that Yara's little group is the future of this company. They go into how they're not done yet, because Yara's role as manager to the stars is expanding with... Before she could say anything else, Tucker and Tate Farris approach. They both have some choice words for the two, before Yara begins to sweet talk them. She suggests Tate should give up his team with his brother and join her, she goes into how powerful they could be without him... Tate gives her a look of annoyance, and Tucker of disgust as Yara and Chase wander off. Tucker asks Tate if he went for any of that, really, and Tate says what the fuck before leaving his brother there to end the segment.

GLUM vs. BAMBI

Glum was eager to go back and forth with Bambi in this match, clearly wanting to hurt the woman but Bambi had proven herself to be a hell of a competitor.
This would lead to a back and forth contest with Glum often trying to get outside and make use of weapons, only for Bambi to use some surprising (or not so surprising at this point) wrestling skill to ground him.
At one point in the match, Cypher would wander down the ramp to the ringside area, which caused Glum to be distracted during a moment where he was about to take advantage.
Bambi would make the advantage her own, taking Glum down and soon hitting the Slit Split on him. She would immediately hook the leg for the pinfall. As Cypher entered the ring she would stop him from attacking Glum, soon taking his head off with a spinning heel kick and knocking him out of the ring much to his surprise. Bambi was having nobody's shit lately!

CJ Sweet was in the backstage area with Rimadonna and Astraea, the three of them talk about how dominant of a World Heavyweight Champion that Sweet had been, and how it's only going to get worse for the CCW roster. Before they can continue, a knock comes at the door. They find a box outside and Astraea asks what's in the box, man, what's in the box?! CJ tells her to calm down and opens it to find a box full of corn...

We get a vignette from recent CCW newcomer Arabella Evers, hyping up her debut victory a few weeks ago, and she suggests 2022 will be the year of Arabella Evers...

CONOR MACHINA vs. ANDRE GATES

Conor Machina finally got his one on one with Andre Gates who had been challenging him for months, playing games with Machina and more.
The two did a battle, a classic big man match with neither man gaining the upperhand for most of this thing. It wasn't wrestling, purely, either. No, it was a full on brawl between two of the companies biggest.
Everything was on the line, the spot in the Gift of God match, everything. The slugfest continued on with both men fighting as if their life depended on it.
The final sequence of the match saw Gates cousins, the Gatekeepers try to get involved only for Machina to take them out. Andre would capture Machina in his finish for a surprising near fall.
Machina would be hoisted up as the Gatekeepers hovered in the ring with Andre, the referee trying to control this mess with Conor shoves Andre into them and takes them out as the three men bump heads. This is enough for Conor to bowl into the group and then hoist Andre up for his finisher! Conor Machina wins!
After the match, Gates gazes at his cousins and begins relentlessly attacking them, blaming them for his loss. Then he glares up the stage at Conor who's watching in shock and he repeatedly says they're not done.

We get a quick segment from Mariah Kennedy, the new Christcore Champion who says she'll hold onto the gold as long as she so desires, so bring on all challengers. Her Gorehounds Championship partner, Dot appears and wants to play tag, but then says she can't wait to play with some new opponents for their tags... which Mariah of course agrees.

GUNTER KINGMAN vs. HUNTER KINGMAN

Gunter Kingman was on his way to the ring flashing his money when Hunter attacks him from behind and they fight to the ringside area!
Hunter is pissed, attacking her older brother for taking her money, which as it turned out was highly important to her, who knew?!
The battle raged on at one point with Gunter using his power advantage to regain control late into the match. He would work hard at keeping his sister down, hitting the Machine Gun on her at one point for a near fall.
At one point Valeria, friend of Hunter Kingman would come to ringside providing a distraction. This would allow Hunter to get Gunter with her finisher and a near fall.
The final section of the match saw Gunter rake his sisters eyes and go to the top rope, abnormal for him, and try to leap off. Hunter would move and then lock in a submission on her brother for the victory.
Afterwards, Gunter offers his sister a handshake and she accepts, much to the chagrin of her friend Valeria on the outside...

We go backstage where Alexa Strange visits the Sky Sorcerors, Jayden Beckett and Jenz Jameson. She mentions that she has spoken with Corey Maim and she's secured the boys a future shot at the Maimstream Gorehounds Championships. Jayden pulls Jenz in with Alexa for a group hug and Jenz is horrified, meanwhile Jayden is talking up Alexa being pretty. Jenz runs away while Jayden continues to flirt with Alexa to end the segment.

We're in the back with Malaya Diosa who is proud of her victory last week. She says she made beating Teddy look easy, but next is Iris King. Out of nowhere, Iris King strikes her in the back with a chair and then stands over her. She says that like everyone else, Malaya will fall to the King.

Backstage - we see Keana and her bestie, Elisha watching with popcorn, excited to see Brennan Devlin about to get his ass beat.

ZACK FANTANA vs. BRENNAN DEVLIN

It's time for the in ring debut of Zack Fantana in CCW as he takes on his long time rival, Brennan Devlin. Devlin enters all cockily and then when the two come face to face, he doesn't seem to be taking Fantana entirely serious.
This is immediately a huge mistake on Devlin's part as Fantana slaps him, then immediately takes him down to the mat with several strikes causing Devlin to have to back out of the ring or risk an ass whoopin'.
Fantana goes on the chase which leads to Devlin driving him into the steel steps and taking an advantage from there. He singles Fantana out in the corner and begins stomping away at his longtime foe, seemingly finally taking him seriously.
After a few near falls, Devlin is clearly frustrated, screaming why won't Zack die and other jeers, before ultimately lifting Zack up only to eat a Pele Kick!
Devlin is down and Zack goes to the top! Lucid Dreams! 1... 2... 3! Zack Fantana just put away Brennan Devlin in the cewnter of the ring! A decisive victory for Fantana over his longtime rival and a good way to end the year for sure! Fuck Brennan Devlin, fuck him!

We cut to backstage where Jesse Morgan is relaxing in a bubble bath, she mentions that she's going to take over Maimstream and CCW, she talks up her status having won her last couple of matches and that soon... soon she'll get /even more/.

MYKIE VILLANUEVA (C) vs. DULCE DESJARDINS

The start of the match saw the referee banning Saylor Stanhouse and Lucretia from ringside, then he bans Dulces husband, Orion Hawke as well, which seems to be fine with both women as they're left in the ring with even footing.
Dulce would hide behind the referee early on as Mykie went on the attack and use him to shield herself from Mykie, then bursts from behind the ref and punches Mykie a few times, even quickly nailing a thumb to the eye as the referee is caught in between them.
Desjardins would control things by here, hitting a running knee on Mykie after coming out from behind the referee. Her underhanded tactics looked to pay off as she locked in a submission on Mykie, but Mykie manages to get the rope break.
Mykie would be on the ropes from here, taking an assault from Desjardins until Mykie catches her with a Canadian Destroyer! Mykie hooks the leg and gets a near fall, she can't believe it!
Mykie would use her wrestling skillset from here onward to try to take control of the situation, suplexing Dulce around the ring before going to the top rope. Dulce would manage to get up as she took a little too long, bouncing off the ropes and causing Mykie to fall straddle!
Dulce climbs to the top and does a top rope hurricanrana off of them throwing Mykie to the mat below! Mykie is down! Dulce is immediately back on her, shaking off the pain, she sets her up and hits her finishing maneuver! Dulce hooks the leg... 1.. 2... 3! DULCE DESJARDINS HAS REGAINED HER ETHEREAL CHAMPIONSHIP!
Dulce celebrates in the ring, kissing the championship as her husband returns to ringside to clap for her, streamers and balloons fall from the ceiling as the longest reigning Ethereal Champion has regained what belongs to her!

In the backstage area we see some commotion as all three teams, the Big Titty Committee (Kitana Price, Ashley LeShae and Kianna Blake), the Killer Baes (Corrie Tomsen, Astrid Weston and Alexis Ortega) and the Chest Club (Arden Raine, Genesa Godiva and Lourdes Hawthorne) are about to break out into a fight. Finally, Chellsea wanders in and yells enough. As CCW staff, she decides that the three teams will face off for the CCW Trios Championships in the... not too distant future. Then she tells them all to chill the hell out before leaving. Of course, things break into a brawl shortly after..

GIFT OF GOD LADDER MATCH.

It was time for the Gift of God match featuring; Conor Machina, Jacob Kuntz, Rachel Carpenter, Jimmy Pridmore, Deadeye Weston, Tommy Knox, Allister Meowly, Jack Danielson, Angel McMaster and Essence.
Last years winner - Angel McMaster would hit outside of the ring at the very beginning, acquiring a ladder and using it as a battering ram to try to get an early lead. The lights go out as she ascends the ladder though, and then they return and she's face to face with THE VOID! Below is Maciie Fatale cackling, they were the ones who attacked her father! Maciie powerbombs Angel from the ladder and down she goes.
The Void and Maciie Fatale exit the ring while Angel McMaster looks to have hurt her arm coming down. Back in the ring Rachel Carpenter is trying to hurry up the ladder but Jacob Kuntz strikes her in the back with a chair! Deadeye Weston soon makes him eat a superkick for that but Allister Meowly quickly climbs the ladder like some sort of cat like creature because she is a cat!
Deadeye Weston hurries up the ladder to stop her from going for the briefcase, and Jimmy Pridmore decides fuck it and starts to push the ladder over! Both go crashing into the floor outside as Allister Meowly explodes into several tinier cats and begins to reform like some sort of cat blob monster in the corner. You ever seen in Dragon Ball Z when Majin Buu reforms? That but with cats.
Back in the ring Essence has begun using her muscles to hurl Rachel Carpenter, her tag partner into people like a battering ram. She takes out Jimmy Pridmore with Rachel, then picks her up by the legs and swings her around, knocking Conor Machina, Kuntzy, Angel, Danielson, Knox and anyone they could for a loop.
After Essence sits Rachel down, Rachel looks ill and says she had too many sundaes and proceeds to go lay in the corner rubbing her tummy looking all pukey.
Essence goes to lift Rachel up on her shoulders anyway and they begin to ascend the ladder! Angel McMaster comes up behind Essence and begins to powerbomb her, Rachel and Essence are yelling no, trying to hang on! Jack Danielson hurries to the top of the ladder and is reaching for the briefcase but Rachel gets a deathgrip on him trying to hang on! Essence, Rachel and Danielson all crash to the mat while Angel tries to get her bum arm to work!
Conor Machina catches her out of nowhere with a Ghost in the Machina! He hurries up the ladder himself, he almost has it! But soon he meets the veteran Tommy Knox and the two start slugging it out!
Angel who was the odds on favorite to win after her win last year, one arm and all begins to push the ladder, toppling the two giant men as they fall to the mat below! Kuntzy meets her on the ladder, then comes Deadeye and Danielson on their own ladder, all of them slugging back and forth! Danielson and Deadeye drive Kuntzy through some tables they set up below but all of them went through... except Angel who still held on! One armed, she reaches for the Gift of God briefcase!
Out of nowhere she's struck in the back with a kendo stick from Essence! Rachel is scaling the ladder and tries to go for the Gift of God briefcase but Angel stops her! Rachel tackles Angel off the ladder, both of them flying and sacrificing herself for the cause!
Essence sees an opening, everyone is down, cats are crawling into the ring clinging to Essence's leg trying to stop her as she kicks them away and they reform into Meowly! Meowly goes for her but Essence boots her in the head! Essence ascends to the top of the ladder and then...
Essence yanks down the Gift of God briefcase! Essence has a shot at any championship she wants between CCW and Maimstream in the next 12 months!

Everyone lays outside the ring looking dejected as Essence celebrates with Rachel in the ring! Her sister Austyn joins her in the ring and Essence holds up the briefcase as pyro goes off. Essence won the first match of 2022!

Static...

Post credits scene. We can hear someone talking in the basement beneath the arena for tonights show. Brennan Devlin is currently dragging a body that looks to be Christian Kincaids.

DOVE VAN DAMME: "I really don't care what you do with it, just get rid of it. O'Rourke hid it but he keeps showing up like some sort of weird pest."

BRENNAN DEVLIN: "Don't worry, I've hid a body before."

Dove wanders away as Dulce Desjardins shows up dragging another body, this time in a body bag. In the room, several bodies lay and a pentagram has been drawn around them.

DULCE DESJARDINS: "... I did it again."

BRENNAN DEVLIN: "That's fine..."

Some time passes and strange chanting comes from the room, then the fire shoots Brennan in the face... He stands over the bodies which dissolve into nothingness and he turns to Dulce.

BRENNAN DEVLIN: "How do I look?"

DULCE DESJARDINS: "Oh... oh wow."

Dove Van Damme wanders back to the room and sees Brennan and Dulce, then looks to the pentagram, she knows the dark arts when she sees it.

DOVE VAN DAMME: "... I forgot my keys..."

We fade to black with Brennan having sacrificed Christian Kincaid and several others to Satan.
