CCW vs. MAIMSTREAM.

It's Christ Centered Wrestling vs. Maimstream and we open up straight into a match as Allister Meowly enters to take on the newcomer, Tera Taylor! The classic battle of cat vs. cock... chicken... thing! We saw a more aggressive side of Allister Meowly in this match who seemed to desire to school the newcomer, or maybe it was because she was bird themed and we had the age old cat vs. bird feud. At one point Tera nearly rolls Meowly up for a three though! But Meowly gets out of it and catches Tera with a Cat's Cradle DDT! Meowly hooks the leg and she defeats Taylor! After the match, she goes on the attack, turning into several cats that attack Tera, but Tera knocks them all out of the ring and they reform into Meowly! This isn't over!

We come to the backstager area where the Maimstream staff of Corey Maim and Dove Van Damme meet up with the CCW general managers, Rochelle Emerson, Faith McKinsey, Chellsea and Brennan Devlin. All of them discuss tonights matches as Faith sees something shiny and bounces off. The group of them chatter back and forth about which will win, Maimstream or CCW as far as an overall tally of winners at the end of the night. It seems they're all eager to see who wins this challenge!

Representing Maimstream, the newcomer - Glum makes his debut but he's met with the talented Pandora Novarro from CCW! Pandora and Glum seem equally matched at first, but at one point Glum takes Pandora to the ground with repeated stomps... then begins doing that clown thing you do where they pull out the never ending scarf with different colors out of Pandoras mouth, not his own! He keeps pulling it, and pulling it, Pandora of course is all what the hell! But after he's done she chokes in the ring and he goes in for a move but she rolls him up for a near fall! Pandora gets back up for Glum to hit his Size 22's as she struggles to raise up! Pinfall and it's over! Glum gains the victory.

In the previous segment Faith McKinsey had bounced off from the scene, having a wardrobe malfunction as she walked down the hall. Then she sees a door open nearby, but nobody in the room. She asks if its God and walks in the room to end the segment Was God back in Christ Centered Wrestling?!

We get the big strong Cecily Golding accompanied by Brennan Devlin as she's representing CCW as she takes on Maimstreams own Corey Maim! At several points during this match he goes to the outside trying to bring weapons into the contest, but he's outmatched by Cecily's wrestling skill as she throws him around the ring with suplexes. He seems to be feeling the effects of Kuntzys show a few weeks ago (which you really should read, good shit). Ultimately though, Corey would catch her with the Maimstreet and he thought he had it but Cecily comes up out of it, lifting him up in her arms! Estee Slaughter aka a F5 and its over!

Alexa Strange is in the back trying to get Jenz Jameson and Jay Beckett to focus on going for Tag Team Championship gold. She says they can get something from her if they do. Jenz asks if they want that, while Jay is just staring at her all smitten. Alexa goes to sit between them on the couch and discuss business, only for Jenz to leap out of the way and hiss like a cat while Jay wraps his arm around her and they all begin to discuss.

Essence would make her entrance for her grudge match with Gavin Stephens (her sister Austyn May did her in ring introduction cause this is a crossover with Maimstream, HI AUSTYN), with her and Rachel Carpenter pushing a cart holding weapons instead of Sundaes. THE HORROR. Essence started throwing weapons into the ring and then did that Sandman thing where he bashes the beer over his head and drinks it while standing on the barricade, while Rachel... ate a sundae. Next, Gavin Stephens entered, the star who looked for vengeance on Essence for taking him out of wrestling for years on end gets to the ringside area, climbs in and he and Essence meet in the center of the ring!

This was a full on fight with these two beating the shit out of eachother. Stephens had taunted Essence for months and now she finally had her vengeance. The both of them striking it out, and Essence receiving several chops in the chest only for her to be all 'I have big boobs, I'm immune' and chopping him back. He did not have big boobs so he was in trouble. Rachel cheers her on from the outside, too as the match goes on. Essence catches him with a Thesz Press and is on top of him choking him, then goes for a pinfall for a near fall. Essence is beating the shit out of him with reckless abandon but then he hits her with an uppercut to knock her back! Vision Quest! Essence is out! BUT A NEAR FALL SHE WASN'T THAT OUT, APPARENTLY!

Essence struggles to get up as Gavin goes on the outside to find some weapons, he sets up a table. Rachel comes up and is yelling some mean words at him and stuff. She even tosses a spoon at him which he laughs off and says he's gonna put her friend through the table! He hits the apron and Essence hits her bicycle kick which needs a name on him! Gavin falls off through his own table thanks to her kick! Essence then goes on the outside, hooking both legs... 1... 2... 3! Essence wins this grudge match, and Gavin Stephens does not gain vengeance on this night! After the match, Essence and Rachel celebrate and everyone gets sundaes!

Yara Yami is in an undisclosed location in doors in a jacuzzi with Chase Devlin in the background. Yara talks about how big her debut was and how her and her client overshadowed both of the Farris'. She says she's sorry to Tate to ruin his moment, but she doesn't care about Tucker. She ultimately says that she will take every bit of momentum that both Farris' have, and her and Chase will be on top of the world soon enough just like he was when they overcame Tucker Farris a week prior. But now its Tates turn... she waves at the camera before turning to Chase and her topless body rising out of the water and climbing atop him to end the segment.

Siberia Zombie and Kowloon Zombie unite to take on Cypher and Average Joe, in a totally random match featuring a CCW and Maimstream team vs. a CCW and Maimstream team! The Zombie Clan come out together in a seemingly united front, while Cypher and Average Joe seemingly meet on stage. Cypher says 'nice jocks, friend' to Average Joe, who thinks Cypher is a swell guy for that. The Zombies bring the fight and Cypher and Average Joe spend a lot of the early match taking a beating as they learn to work together. But late into the match, Cypher would knock Kowloon off the apron after he tagged out. Average Joe was outside taking a coffee break when Kowloon got up and shoved him. Joe throws coffee on him and the two begin to brawl, Kowloon no sold hot coffee, the bastard. Back in the ring, Siberia has Cypher down, but Cypher rakes her in the eyes while the referee is looking at the chaos on the outside! Cypher rolls her up and gets his feet on the ropes! Cypher just pinned a former CCW World Champion! Kowloon hits the ring as Cypher hurries out and celebrates with a confused Average Joe!

We get a vignette for Rose Mankillers return to Maimstream Wrestling NEXT WEEK. We cut out to see Taylor Lynn watching the monitor with a smirk on her face after their meeting all the way back at Maimstream 1!

We would go next to Jesse Morgan taking on Valeria in a mud match, with each representing their respective brands. Both women have a solid back and forth mud match, however that works, before Valeria ultimately ends up dropped on her ass in the mud with Jesse's finish, and she attempts to spank her before pinning her for the 1, 2, 3.

Dulce Desjardins is seen setting on Brennan Devlin's desk in his office upon his entry. It's there where she speaks to him and suggests she's worked so hard this year, backbreaking hard work, and it would be nice if she were thought of on Christmas for that. Brennan asks what she wants and she says she has some ideas. He suggests Wrestling With Christmas 2 is busy, but they have the New Years show coming up and he can make something happen. Dulce kisses him on the cheek and says she'll have a special outfit on next week just as a thank you to him and then walks out happily. Brennan falls back on his seat and lets out a sigh, then he hears the phone ring.

Liam Collins would make his debut representing Maimstream here as he took on the clowny hijinks of CCW mainstay Violet Fontenot in singles action. Fontenot came in with some fire, literally, she spat some fire, circus people am I right? But as the contest went on, Liam Collins seemed to gain many of the crowd onto his side. Violet looked to be about to score the victory at several points though, before Liam Collins would slip out of her grasps and roll her up, hooking her by the tights and scoring a surprise three count over the CCW veteran! Another win for the Maimstream here tonight!

We get a vignette for the Maimstream duo of Victoria Marvell and Eleanor Dhampir, the Team of IED, who will be back in Maimstream soon!

We get Skull Kid #1 next representing CCW as he takes on Jimmy Pridmore of Maimstream, these two have a violent back and forth match under Maimstreams ruleset. Skull Kid #1 would be seemingly set on regaining his singles push here, bringing a shopping cart full of weapons to the ring. He used some of them on his opponent, some of them! The two would have a back and forth fight up the ramp late into the match, with Skull Kid #1 looking to push Jimmy Pridmore off the stage in a shopping cart... Pridmore would manage to get out of it and slam Skull Kid #1 into the stage. He tossed Pridmore into it, and then pushed him off the stage crashing into electrical equipment! Stagehands spray him with a fire extinguisher to sell the effects, and Pridmore goes for the pinfall and gains the victory!

Brew Collar are in the backstage area and they go into how they've been treated in the last year. They were here originally, one of the most decorated teams in company history and its damn near time people remember just how good Deadeye Weston and Jack Danielson, Gods Favorite Tag Team are. Soon, they all will...

It's time for the next match and its Dexter Jacobs of Maimstream taking on Rivers King of CCW fame! Rivers was using, you guessed it, wrestling to try to take big Dex down. But Dexter would put a damper on his attempts to gain momentum with strikes every time. At one point, Rivers would look to get the victory though, putting on a flurry of offense before hitting his finish on Jacobs late into the match. But Jacobs was just too resilient. The final half of this match saw Jacobs go for a powerbomb but Pridmore slips out. Rivers tries to hurl Dexter into a ring post but Dexter gets free of it and catches him with his finisher for a pinfall!

We get an ad for the upcoming app for your television, Devlin+ where you can get all of your Brennan Devlin content and other shows.

It was time for Amani Jordan of CCW fame taking on Killer Karen from Maimstream, with CCW's Maciie Fatale in her corner! Things never went to plan for Killer Karen, ultimately leading to Amani Jordan getting the pinfall over Karen with her finishing maneuver in the center of the ring!

Displeased, after the match Maciie Fatale would attack Karen in the center of the ring and drive her into the mat repeatedly with her own finish, the Fatale Attraction. Then she would drag her outside and put her through a table. We focus on an enraged Maciie standing outside of the ring, while Amani just watches on from the ramp in confusion.

The Couples Championships are on the line as Lola and Noah Weaver representing CCW take on the Maimstream team of Camila Vaine and Matthias Graeme! It seemed like it was gonna be Vaine and Graemes night, as Vaine had been on an upward trajectory in Maimstream recently. She brought a fire to this match and would counter every move Lola made, much to her frustration. At several points in the match, the hard hitting offense of Graeme and Vaine seemed to be too much to handle for Lola and Noah.

After a retreat to the outside, the Couples Champions would go about this very differently, hitting the ring and breaking the match into a slower pace. At one point, Lola would use her feminine wiles to distract the referee while Noah choked Graeme in the ropes. Graeme would manage to get the tag out only for Vaine to get in the ring and start to take control again! But a kick to the back upon rebounding off the ropes lead to the referee reprimanding Lola while Vaine rushed to the corner to tag herself out. The referee was confused during the chaos as Graeme hit the ring, while Lola kept trying to distract the ref! A back body drop from Weaver and then he knocks Vaine off the apron! He launches a tired Graeme into the turnbuckle then quickly tags Lola in! Lola locks in the Screamweaver and a reluctant Graeme has to tap out!

We get a backstage segment with Jax Champlin talking up her victory over Colton Cash, when Felicity Cash tackles her to the floor and begins trying to choke her! Felicity screeches as referees and talents try to pull her away, while Felicity screams she is a mother so don't lay your hands on her! Jax tries to dive over several people to get at Felicity, as Colton Cash yells some comments back at her while trying to get his wife out of there to end the segment.

Up next we have a Barbed Wire Deathmatch featuring CCW's Dash Dawkins taking on Matt 'Deathrow' King of Maimstream. Dash had been bashing the deathmatch wrestling style in some recent Maimstream appearances and caught the ire of MDK and now, they did battle! This one was bloody with Dash seemingly unfamiliar with the style, but managing to keep up with the veteran. At one point, there's a gruesome scene where MDK puts Dash through a board covered in barbed wire. The finish saw Dash looking to do something crazy though, lighting a table on fire as he went to put a bloody MDK through it. But MDK would block it and drive him through the flaming table instead... then he hooked the leg and it was over. MDK scores a victory for Maimstream!

Hunter Kingman calls out her brother to the ring here in our next segment, wanting answers why he stole the music contract and cut her out. Soon, Gunter Kingman comes out dressed to the nines, the titantron reading 'Big Money Gunny' and he's joined by his friend, Cool Cat Kyle. Both of them come to the ring and they have a chat with Hunter. He says he's been out making all this money, he used the fortunes that contract gave him to invest in NFTs and various cryptocurrencies to become rich. He thanks his sister for everything she did, but Big Money Gunny is here to stay. Gunter is booed heavily by the crowd, and Hunter attacks him, only for him to roll out of the ring where Hunter beats up the Cool Cat. She then challenges him next week for her rightful share of his fortunes. Gunter says only if she beats Cool Cat Kyle next week!

We take a break from the CCW vs. Maimstream action momentarily as Veronica Levandrier makes her debut against Gabi Ryker. The Queen of Mean Gabi Ryker came in looking strong and wanting to get a decisive win here to end the new year, and what better way than the young Levandrier to do it?! Ryker was assaulting Veronica for most of this, using some raw athleticism to get the newcomer down! But Veronica dodges a flying forearm attempt and comes out of it, catches Gabi with the Levandriver! Veronica hooks the leg and we have a victory for Levandrier tonight in her debut!

Rainey Caamano is in the backstage area hiding behind something and then as Corey Maim walks by she jumps out and scares him. That's the whole segment.

Violet Fontenot (CCW) had double duty tonight because we let Corey Maim book this card and he's an idiot (should have let Dove handle it), as Violet takes on the Maimstream newcomer Melly Chapel! Fontenot looked good in spite of having some of the worst luck being booked twice in one night. Chapel really brought it though, having Fontenot on the ropes a lot early on and looking like she was going to score an upset. But something must have snapped in Violet, because after a nearfall, Fontenot would come out of it and get a perceived second (or third) wind! She would take Chapels finish for a near fall, and come out of it with Chapel looking to hit her again... Chapel would be dodged though, leading to Violet dropping her with her own finishing move for the pinfall! Violet Fontenot scores a victory over the Maimstream newcomer!

After the phone call earlier, Brennan Devlin is hiding behind his desk when Rochelle Emerson walks in and asks him what's wrong. Brennan has his lights off and peeks over the desk. Rochelle gets him to come out and he finally says what scared him. Keana is coming next week to CCW... and she's bringing her best friend Elisha. Rochelle gasps to end the segment.

It was time for another as the hardcore legend, Taylor Lynn represented Maimstream against her sometimes other home of Christ Centered Wrestling. But representing CCW? Vanessa Page! Page brought the fight to Taylor Lynn in this as she always does, and at several points it looked like Page might pull one out on the wily vet. But Taylor would persevere, ending up in a rage later into the match, eating several strikes from Page and hitting back with her own. The finale of the match saw a sequence where Page had Lynn up in her finisher, only for Lynn to slip her way out and catch Page with her own! Lynn would hook the leg for the pinfall and that was that! Another win for Maimstream.

The Killer Baes (Astrid Weston, Corrie Tomsen and Alexis Ortega) are in the building and they're none too happy. They have been one of the top trios in CCW and they feel ignored. They should have been tag champions, they should have been this, and that. But everyone's talking about the Chest Club adding a third, or the Big Titty Committee... but soon it will be their time!

More action, even more as Noelle Laurent repping Maimstream would face off against the former CCW Tag Team Champion, Rimadonna in singles competition! Both women were evenly matched, with Rimadonna taking the advantage later into the contest with some superior power. It looked as if Rimadonna may have had this in the bag, while Astraea and CJ Sweet watched on the outside. Then, a group of Maimstream people along with Tommy Knox came to ringside, leading to a confrontation between Splatterpunk and CCW Champions. As referees tried to break this up, Rimadonna would end up distracted by it all and be rolled up by Noelle Laurent, who would steal one for Maimstream!

Liu Uzi Chang is back and he cuts a promo on the Mop, saying two creatures with cosmic powers such as theirs cannot exist on the same plane of reality like this forever. He wants to settle it at Wrestling With Christmas 2. The Mop comes out and cuts a promo, accepting the match and the two stare eachother down to end the segment.

Mariah Kennedy and Dot would be out next as their Maimstream Gorehounds Championships were on the line against the unit of Regulators, Inc, Sadie Cassidy and Jane Adler. This was a tag team special and then some, as both teams refused to quit throughout this thing. Kennedy and Dot did not want to be the only people to actually lose gold to the opposite side, and Regulators Inc. wanted to be the only ones to get in that spot.

In the midst of the match, Rarity and Jade would appear from the stage, finding their way to the announcers desk where they would watch the match unfold much to the annoyance of the Regulators. Mariah would get hurled out of the ring at one point while the Regulators singled Dot out. Dot would be stomped in a corner, trying to cover up as the more aggressive Regulators handled her with swift tags.

Finally the match would come to a close with the team of the Regulators looking like they about had it. But Rarity and Jade wandered closer to the ring with Rarity sort of just vibing while Jade watched her amused. Sadie and Jane would stop and look at them only for the Serial Offenders to tag in and out quickly, Mariah would lift Jane while Sadie was knocked off the apron by Dot. A tandem finish from Mariah and Dot, Mariah hooks the leg and the Serial Offenders retain the Gorehounds Championships!

We cut to the back where we find an unconscious Alex Church! The trainers and medical staff say he was poisoned and they need to take him to the trainers room and let the faith healers pray for him! Then, Dove Van Damme is there directing traffic and asks where the Magic Mayonnaise Jar he won is... They seem confused... The JAR HAS BEEN STOLEN! Dove asks who would want that gross thing as we fade to the next match.

Teddy Levandrier was out next to introduce us to the reigning, defending Golden Ticket Champion Iris King, and this match would be defended under 'the Kings Rules', meaning no 24/7 rules, and its a typical single pin multiple person match. Wayne, Malaya Diosa, Scott Dunn, Wilbur, Bear McGraw and Christian Kincaid would all join in the ring for this multi person match where anyone could win! Who would take the gold home?! As this went on, everyone would nearly have a pinfall on someone to get the W. With Wilbur getting a chance to pin Christian Kincaid early on, almost getting the victory.

But Wilbur would be tossed out of the ring by an angry Iris King, only to be rolled up by Malaya Diosa who would nearly get the fall. Scott Dunn would be a big showstealer in this, powering through his competition several times, when all of them piled on him, even having a back and forth with him overpowering Bear McGraw. At one point with Dunn bowling through everyone, with everyone down, a tired Iris King crawled across the ring and it looked sincerely like it was Malayas shot to finally get what was hers.

Malaya was on the precipice of winning here, the crowd cheering as she sized up Iris! Malaya with the Butterfly Effect on Iris! She almost has it and the crowd can't believe it! 1... 2... KICKOUT! Christian Kincaid goes to throw Malaya off, trying to pin Iris! Teddy Levandrier is on the apron taking Malaya by the hair! Christian Kincaid goes for a pin and Iris lifts him up from a laying position, giving him a massive fallaway slam and then running big boots Malaya out of the ring! Back in the ring, Iris King hooks Kincaids leg and pins him for the 3 as Wilbur and Dunn both stop eachother from breaking it up!

Back in the ring, Teddy Levandrier celebrates with Iris King while Malaya Diosa gazes on from the outside and yells that this isn't over! Will Malaya Diosas time come?!

The Chest Club consisting of Lourdes Hawthorne and Arden Raine introduce their newest member, Genesa, who appears with them and they say they're ready for the Big Titty Committee. Before long, the BTC appears featuring Kianna Blake, Ashley LeShae and Kitana Price. The two groups start to brawl as CCW staff tries to break them up to end the backstage segment.

Ricki Wilde's undefeated streak is on the line! Ricki is in the ring suggesting nobody can handle her, the music of RANDY from Randy and Wayne fame goes off. The two CCW jobbers come out and both of them look to be challenging Ricki, but they seem hesitant. Ricki asks if they're eager to lay down for her and both agree, instantly laying down after the ball rings! The crowd cheer for Ricki as she sways her hips over all sultry to them and places a boot on one of them! The referee then begins to count... Ricki was right! Someone was eager to lay down but Lazlo Goodlove on commentary was unhappy with her extending her streak in such a mischievous way!

Andre Gates and Conor Machina have a segment prior to their match coming up within the Christmas with Christ tour. Both men establish their disliek for one another, with Gates suggesting that Conor Machina has been tested in CCW. But not tested like a match with him. Machina suggests they can have that test right now... Gates starts to head to the ring, then relents, saying he fights on his own time. Not Machinas time, but he'll see him soon. Machina taunts the crowd and says a few lines mocking Gates before leaving after this.

It was time for one of the main events as it was a non-title champion vs. champion match as the CCW Television Champion Wendy Wynne takes on the Maimstream Gore Whore Champion Bambi! This was a huge match for both sides, with Bambi being chosen to go slightly out of the ordinary and represent Maimstream tonight, while Wendy represented CCW. Both women sized one another up with both giving confident looks across the ring.

This was a tough one for both women, both seemingly evenly matched throughout and even catching the interest of Heather Haze who would join the commentary team. Neither woman in the ring took their eye off the ball, both of them hooking up early on and testing eachothers might. As this went on, Wendy would grow frustrated at the fast paced flurry of offense put upon her by Bambi, and ultimately would jump out of the ring and pull Bambi down onto the mat, yanking her straddle of a ring post!

From there on, Bambi struggled getting her wind back and Wendy was on the assault, at one point catching her in a near fall and screaming at the referee to come on! After another near fall, Wendy would go on the outside and scream something about if they wanted hardcore like Maimstream, she'd give it to them. She went and grabbed herself a chair, hitting the ring and sizing Bambi up! But referee Rusty McFeely grabbed it and took it!

Wendy is throwing a fit as Bambi slips up behind her! Sex Drive Crucifix Driver on Wendy! Then she hurries up to the top... Slit Split! Wendy is out! She hooks the leg... 1... 2... 3! Bambi wins one for Maimstream.

As Bambi celebrates, the titantron flashes and we see Ruby Red outside the trainers room. She mentions her 'former' protege and Bambi's boyfriend, Dash Dawkins was just in there after his match with Matt 'Deathrow' King. She says Dash looked so hurt, and it was about to get worse. She simply shakes her head, uttering in French that both Bambi and Dash made her do this. Then she pushes the door open as Cole Black wanders inside.

We hear the sound of two men fighting as Bambi looks on, confused and begins to rush to the back to go check on her already injured boyfriend who seems to be in the middle of a surprise assault! Back in the ring, Heather Haze has rolled in and stands over Wendy holding up the Television Championship.

We cut to Bambi backstage looking for the trainers room and once she gets there, she finds Dash laying on the ground with a metal storage box turned over on him, looking as if they'd put his arm in it and slammed the lid down upon it. Bambi is clearly pissed and says to get some help as she checks on him. Far down the hall, we see an amused Ruby Red with Cole Black looking on.

Back in the ring we have Lisa Seldon who seems confused if Alex Church will even come out after he was poisoned earlier in the night. Alex's music plays and nothing happens, nobody comes out. There has to be a winner in this Maimstream vs. CCW match so Austyn May gets on the microphone and says if Church doesn't answer by a count of 10, Lisa will be announced as winner. Seldon looks frustrated as she waits, and finally, Austyn counts to 10! Lisa Seldon wins for CCW!

Lisa Seldon is none too happy about winning like this, flipping off the crowd as she walks out. God she hates Maimstream and CCW, and that guy in the front row in particular. What happened?

Next up, we get a package about the new Splatterpunk Champion, Tommy Knox as he enters after. Then we meet the dangerous CJ Sweet who has had a stranglehold on CCW's Heavyweight Championship! Sweet sends the Slay Belles (Rima and Astraea) to the back, looking to handle this on her own as they nod. The two meet in the ring with the crowd going wild at the first ever meeting between CCW Champion and Splatterpunk Champion.

Early on both locked up with Knox utilizing his power and getting an advantage over Sweet. The CCW Faithful were against him but the Maimstream crowd in the arena cheered him on. It was a mix on both sides all night but especially here, as he had CJ in a corner stomping away at the former Playboy Covergirl. She eventually had to cover up and get out of the ring to some jeers from the crowd.

Tommy Knox went after her and they fought out into the crowd, both of them fighting up onto the stands. CJ knocks Knox almost off the side through some tables below, he's teetering, but she goes for a clothesline and he ducks. Knox spears her off the side, sending them both through the tables below! CJ hits through them as does Knox, the crowd chanting 'HOLY SHIT, HOLY SHIT'!

Tommy Knox manages to get up first, dragging CJ back to the ring, he is clearly hurt as bad as she is from the fall. He drops her at ringside and she tries to go under the ring. The bell rings as QT immediately grabs the championship from the referees grasp as Ethan hits the ring with him to celebrate. The show ends with Austyn May announcing... "And your NEW Maimstream Wrestling Splatterpunk Champion - QT REESE!" The crowd is booing as QT climbs to the top rope to celebrate to end the show.
