- TIE — BAMBI |
While Bambi debuted into the year, she would take the Divine Championship division by storm, instantly gaining the belt after several big wins over various top talents. Seemingly it was her destiny for her to have success in the CCW, Bambi has cemented herself as one of the number one picks this year. If you hear Bambi tell it though, in 2022, she’ll be the only one to be the #1 pick, and we look forward to seeing that reign unfold. TIE — CJ SWEET | The former sweetheart of the company turned her back on the fans to attain accolades this year, and as a result, CJ Sweet spent the majority of the year as the Christcore Champion in a record-setting reign before taking hold of the company as a member of the Slay Belles and gaining her first World Championship reign. Will 2022 get even sweeter for God’s Favorite Wrestler?! TIE — DULCE DESJARDINS | Dulce Desjardins spent as of this writing from the first Wrestling With Christ, December 25th, 2020, till December of 2021 as the Ethereal Champion. A near-year-long championship reign earns her a spot on this list. The self-proclaimed ‘favorite’ finds herself as one of the three top contenders on this year’s list with her record-breaking reign. - JACOB KUNTZ |
2021 was the Year of the Corn for many a Christ-Centered Wrestling fan as Jacob Kuntz ascended to the top of the ladder for the very first time to win the CCW World Championship and make his own spot in the companies history. - RARITY CARPENTIER & JADE BENTLEY |
Rarity and Jade came in to pick up the slack left behind by former division mainstays, The Children of the Moon (Julie Miri and Bex Thoreau). Upon their ascension, they would overcome many of the companies top tag teams before ultimately becoming one of the most dominant teams the company has ever seen. - RICKI WILDE |
For two years, Ricki Wilde has remained undefeated in CCW, yet to take a loss by pinfall or submission. Not even a loss in tag team action… Is it finally time for Ricki to ascend the ranks in 2022 to something even bigger? Or will she keep her undefeated streak intact and play it on the straight and narrow for a while longer? - SIBERIA ZOMBIE |
Siberia Zombie has held the Television Championship and World Championship in 2021, while she even competed for the Christcore Championship at one point. One of CCW’s most decorated talents, the sky is the limit for her in 2022. - HEATHER HAZE |
Heather Haze began as a somewhat unknown to the CCW audiences, though through her repeated showings of heart and sheer effort, Haze began to win over the fans within the CCW Faithful. What’s next for Haze in 2022? The sky is the limit. - WENDY WYNNE |
A surprise return in 2021, Wendy Wynne was always one of the biggest what if’s in CCW. If she hadn’t taken time away from the company early on, many thought she could have been a World Champion… And she returned to instantaneous success, winning the Television Championship as a surprise replacement opponent against Heather Haze. - TAYLOR LYNN |
Taylor Lynn did everything throughout 2021, with repeated Television and Golden Ticket Championship reigns, the hardcore legend showed her tenacity time and time again, gaining her a prominent spot on our list. - BEMBE BRIGHTWELL |
The man destined for greatness after ending CJ Sweet’s record-breaking Christcore Championship reign. Poised for greatness, Bembe began a monumental reign leading for the rest of the year… and as of writing, no one has yet to take him down. - RAPTOR |
The mighty Raptor would decimate throughout 2021, after middling feuds early on with the Double Dragons, Raptor truly began to come into his own as 2021 went on, pushing himself into the Revelation brands Undisputed Championship chase… - CHANG & THE MOP |
Chang and the Mop have feuded back and forth all year long, with neither man taking a real advantage. But the Mop gained the first pinfall victory over Chang in wrestling history since the dawn of time… but Chang is Chang. So we’re here rn. - LISA SELDON |
I wanted to rank Lisa beneath the Mop. - SANTANA JOHNSON |
Consistent is the best word to describe Santana Johnson, whenever he’s out there, you know it’s gonna be a war. The top championship has eluded him in his entire tenure in the company, but — it’s clear, the gold is in his future… and it could be the Revelation brand’s Undisputed gold. - CONOR MACHINA |
Conor Machina spent the majority of the year in a war with the man known as Void Walker. Machina would see wins and losses a plenty, but he bounced back through each, earning him a hard-fought #14 on our top 69. - THE SLAY BELLES [RIMADONNA & ASTRAEA] |
There was no bigger team throughout the year than the Slay Belles, and as a whole, with CJ Sweet included they would rank much higher. But separately, while very successful in the Tag Team division through the year, they come up just short of getting higher as a duo. But - with Rimadonna poised to break out with Astraea at her side, 2022 could prove to be an even bigger year for the Belles. - MARIAH KENNEDY |
Mariah Kennedy spanked her way into the top 20 this year, quickly making a name for herself as the heir apparent to the Christcore Championship held by Bembe Brightwell. A thorn in his side, constantly, as well as a multiple-time Golden Ticket Champion… Mariah Kennedy has taken every opportunity presented to her in 2021 and makes our list! - LIV MERCER |
The Queen of Cups herself, Liv Mercer fought year-round to gain the status she felt she deserved as the winner of the #ChristCup. At first, she had her doubters, but through every dirty trick in the book, Mercer would attain the cup and cement herself in our history books, and earn a spot as #17. - ANGEL MCMASTER |
Last year’s #1 entry due to her monumental reign as CCW World Champion, McMaster has focused on more personal feuds throughout the year. Her wrestling has been as great as ever, but, in 2022 could we see McMaster look to refocus on what she does best, winning championships?! - CAI YUKIKO |
One of our hardest working babyfaces, Cai Yukiko will take on any opponent in spite of her smaller stature. Yukiko won the hearts of the CCW faithful through her wrestling skillset and never say die attitude. Championships may have eluded her thus far, but it may only be a matter of time before Cai Yukiko attains the gold with performances like she’s given. - AZI |
2021 was a year for the demon satanist scary lady, as Azi would take the Combat Crown division and make it hers, several times over. With much success through the early and mid-year, she’s had a bit of a downward slope late into the year… Will Azi be able to regain that momentum? - THE VOID & MACIIE FATALE |
The Void (or Void Walker) would make Conor Machina’s life hell throughout the year, ultimately being joined by Machina’s nemesis, Maciie Fatale, who would join him in his quest. The Void would ultimately sacrifice his success at points, choosing to focus on Machina rather than upward momentum which hurts them both on this list. - RIVERS KING |
Rivers King seemed like an obvious winner for the Christ Cup earlier this year, coming off a big tie with Brennan Devlin, whom he nearly wrestled into submission. But the rise of Liv Mercer seemed to blow those chances out of the water. As a result, Rivers has struggled after the draft to find his place… but in 2022, Rivers will rise again. - CHRIS CONSTANTINE, JR. |
Constantine would spend a large part of the year away, before coming back with a bang, only to be sidelined as the company went on hiatus. But with victories under his belt, and the sheer presence our first ever World Champion brings, he makes our list at a great 23! - ESSENCE |
The wild one herself, Essence had spent the year with a friendship blossoming between herself and Rachel Carpenter, leading to various successes in singles and tag team action. The latter half of the year has been spent in a feud with Gavin Stephens, but, everyone has said since the company began that Essence was destined for gold… will it finally be her time in 2022? - REGULATORS, INC. [SADIE CASSIDY & JANE ADLER]
The Regulators finally had their big break in the CCW tag division this year, gaining the championship gold from the Slay Belles. Later in the year, they’ve begun showing some signs of a slight attitude change… will the bigger, badder Regulators do even bigger things in 2022?! - BREW COLLAR [DEADEYE WESTON & JACK DANIELSON]
The most dangerous tag team in all of wrestling, and God’s Favorite Tag Team, the team of Brew Collar didn’t have as big of a year in 2021 as their 2020. But, in 2022, Brew Collar seems to be full steam ahead after settling their feud with the Kingman’s over Howie Doo and his money. What’s next for them from here?! - CARTIER |
The thickness, Cartier, had a hell of a year with a lot more than her early baking contest victory! She has been a mainstay in our Combat Crown division, and while she may no longer be our champion, there’s a clear upward trajectory for Cartier moving forward… what’s next? - RIKA |
Talking Christ said 2022 would be the year of Rika, and she really put in work this year, but when will she finally leap above the Combat Crown division? It may very well be in 2022, as Rika is on the precipice of breaking out to even bigger things! - NOAH & LOLA WEAVER |
The Weavers were destined to win the Couples Championships from their first appearance with the company, instantly changing the tone in the Couples division by making their attack on Craig and Jessica Anderson. The Weavers would soon go on a tear, making the division theirs for the rest of the year. - HUNTER KINGMAN |
Hunter Kingman would spend a lot of the year being courted by music star, Howie Doo, and seemingly being set for big things. Though a betrayal, and later being joined by her brother would see her having success and failures in the singles and tag divisions alike. But she was consistent, eventually gaining her momentum back through the latter half of the year. - KIRSTY JORDAN |
This list could have gone very differently for Kirsty Jordan, if not for Liv Mercer, who stole what looked to be a big forward push through the Christ-Centered Classic. Since then, Kirsty Jordan has been looking for vengeance for most of the year and has been tearing through anyone in her way. - THE KILLER BAES [CORRIE TOMSEN, ASTRID WESTON, & ALEXIS ORTEGA]
The Baes has been a consistent force in CCW, and have always been on the precipice of a major run, especially with the addition of Alexis Ortega. It’s clear that any time they want to the Killer Baes could go even bigger… - CYNTHIA |
Another former babyface who turned her back on the crowd, Cynthia would turn heel early this year and begin a lengthy run with the Golden Ticket Championship, using her husband to keep her from various opponents. Cynthia is poised in 2022 to go even further beyond the Golden Ticket division, with dedication, as well. - RACHEL CARPENTER |
Rachel Carpenter joined Essence in 2021 to form the Christ-Centered Sundaes, Unholy Sundaes, Sundaes on a Mundaes, whatever you want to call them and instantly became one of the companies most popular units. With great forward momentum, Rachel Carpenter is poised for success in 2022 in singles and tag divisions… as well as having had a hell of a 2021! - ALLISTER MEOWLY |
The main Meow, Allister Meowly had a turbulent 2021, in and out of our Combat Crown and Christcore divisions, she would be a mainstay on our shows, picking up a few wins, but some crucial losses. As of this list though, it seems like her fortunes may be turning around for the better as she heads into 2022. - FLEX APPEAL [MATT & SKYLAR KNIGHT] |
Matt and Skylar Knight are one of the premier tag teams in CCW, and throughout the year they’ve put on a fitness-based wrestling school where they’ve taken on all opponents. They’ve shown themselves to be a force to be reckoned with, and 2022 and beyond could be an all Flex Appeal future at this rate. - AVERAGE JOE |
Average Joe in spite of any lack of charisma, overall just being a normal guy, has been on a tear in 2021 with a massive win over Taylor Lynn beginning a push for him up to our ranks. 2022 could very well be Joe’s year because he did damn well in this one. - MAXX BENNETT |
Before she got pregnant, Maxx Bennett was one of the top acts in Christ-CenteredWrestling and seemingly had a stranglehold on the Television Championship until her departure. Your father said you did good, Maxx. - GENIE & ELIJAH CARLSON |
The first to win the Couples Cup, the first-ever Couples Champions, there is no taking away their successful run early in the year. With a solid run together, it’s kind of fucked up how divorced they got so quickly. I think we might have helped spur that on so uh, sorry, sorry everybody. No Couples Cup curse, please. - IRIS KING |
The mad king, Iris King came into CCW as a physical specimen of a woman who at first lacked some direction, before ultimately being joined by her representation Teddy Levandrier. King would find her path, ripping through anyone who stood in her way for the Golden Ticket Championship and even doing away with the Golden Ticket ruleset for a new ‘Kings Rules’ stipulation. With an iron grip on the Golden Ticket Championship, 2022 is looking to be even bigger for the King. - FREIGHT TRAIN & MO MOONEY |
These two were wrapped up a large portion of the year in the war between Chellsea and Angel McMaster, siding with Chellsea, where the two would be seen being a thorn in the side of McMaster for most of it. The duo coming up short a few wins gains them their spot here on the list, though they could have been much higher. - VIOLET FONTENOT |
Clowns man, clowns are scary. Violet Fontenot this year has had her ups and downs, finding herself embroiled in a feud with Azi for the Combat Crown Championship off and on through the year. Fontenot looks to regain her momentum in 2022 and perhaps ascend to even greater heights. - MYKIE VILLANUEVA |
The veteran Mykie Villanueva spent her year embroiled in the feud between Saylor Stanhouse and Dulce Desjardins, becoming Saylor’s proxy in their war. Villanueva has come up short against Dulce several times, but, with a relentless ability to take punishment and keep coming back to try again… Mykie gets on this list for her success and sheer willpower! - THE CHEST CLUB [LOURDES HAWTHORNE & ARDEN RAINE] |
Forming their duo, the Chest Club, they looked all year to bring the fight back against the Big Titty Committee who had been a thorn in Hawthorne’s side all year. The Chest Club has made 2021 a big year for them nevertheless and is rumored to be adding a third to their ranks. 2022, the Chest Club may grow even stronger! - THE BIG TITTY COMMITTEE [KITANA PRICE, KIANNA BLAKE & ASHLEY LASHAE] |
The BTC (not Bitcoin) was formed earlier this year upon the return of Ashley LaShae, joining with Kitana and Talia… The group would ultimately remove Talia, replacing her with Kianna Blake, and the three would see success as a trio while torturing their enemies and generally being pains in the butt of everyone around. - RUBY RED & COLE BLACK |
Ruby Red and Cole Black took the company by storm upon their debut, but rather than rush in, they chose a slow, methodical pace. They would take out various opponents such as Kevin Hunter and more. Before ultimately setting their sights on Red’s old nemesis, Bambi. If not for that methodical pace, the duo would be much higher on this list… - CRAIG & JESSICA ANDERSON |
Hey Craig. Hey guys look it’s Craig, Craig was here, will be here again, and he’s gonna post results with naked Alexei in them. - AMANI JORDAN |
Amani Jordan started as a simple interviewer, but through the pushing of an angry Karen, she went the fuck off. Jordan has since shown a surprising amount of prowess in her rookie year… the sky is the limit! - NEVE MARX |
Madman Marx, we call her, I’m kidding. But Neve Marx has shown through the year to have let go of some of her good-girl image, and instead taken on a more violent disposition, particularly with her disdain for Dynamite Larry, Bad Irene, and more. Dynamite Neve, Bad Neve, whatever you wanna call her, this little rage monster earned a spot on our list… and 2022 may hold even bigger things! - CAMILA VAINE |
Camila Vaine had some big success in Maimstream recently, honorable mention, but that’s not here. Here, she’s been a solid up and comer with a lot to prove and a fire to her that is leading her places. 2022 could be the breakout year for Camila Vaine if she remains consistent. - GABI RYKER |
Gabi Ryker has been a consistent talent in CCW, appearing regularly and picking up crucial wins. While slowly building her streak of sorts, it’s clear, Gabi Ryker is working towards something bigger than just a few wins… 2022 could be the time. - THE LANCASTER TWINS [GEORGIA & GREENLY] |
The Lancaster Twins as a unit, as solos, have been a regularly appearing team in CCW throughout the year, and generally, when they appear, they find success. With more consistent appearances in 2022, they may be on to even bigger things. - YARA YAMI & CHASE DEVLIN |
Without even a match yet, Yara Yami has made big news by bringing in the talents of Chase Devlin and building her feud with the Farris’. If she can do this much without even having a match, what’s next for her in 2022 when she and Devlin begin to compete more often? - BODHI |
Bodhi has struggled to find her footing a bit in CCW but has had several major outings with some of the company’s best and brightest. With a bit of an identity crisis earlier in the year, Bodhi seems to fully comprehend who and what she is now, and heads into 2022 with a chance at even greater success. - MALAYA DIOSA |
Malaya Diosa has casually been building up her streak of successes in the CCW and seems poised to break out at any time heading into 2022. The only reason she’s so low on this list is a later start in the year than most but, 2022 could be the year of Malaya Diosa at this rate! - ARABELLA EVERS |
A debut that came later in the year got her so low on the list, but Arabella Evers has already shown major potential with an early victory under her belt. Evers has an upward trajectory heading past the new year. - STU, KAZ, PAUL & LUKE (aka 4 Cool Wrestlers) |
The 4 Cool Wrestlers got a late start into the year as well, but in spite of that, they’ve all had a presence to varying degrees enough to make it onto the list. - SKULL KID #1 |
Skull Kid #1 disappeared earlier in the year where the fuck did you go? So he missed half the year doing Skull Kid stuff so he ended up being a late entry here. - SAYLOR STANHOUSE |
Saylor Stanhouse has had minimal wrestling matches this year but has been a controlling force from the commentary desk, manipulating her way into a war with the Ethereal Champion, Dulce Desjardins along the way. - CECILY GOLDING |
The powerhouse of Team Hatface, Cecily Golding spend the year as both an enforcer for Brennan Devlin and a standout in the singles/tag appearances she’s made. Cecily spent the year winning most of her matches, but due to the infrequency of them has been placed lower on the list than most… is 2022 her year? - JANESSA SWEET |
Janessa Sweet has been a babyface the crowd could get behind since her very first appearance with the company, gaining the love of the CCW Faithful. But she’s yet to get that defining win… Soon, we hope. - NATALIE & CHAD KASSIDY |
Natalie Kassidy either through wrestling skill or sheer accidents would be quite successful earlier in the year at the first annual Couples Cup, and Chad was there. This gets her placement on our list. - FAITH MCKINSEY & AARON PACE |
These two spent a portion of their time hereafter the Couples Cup in a feud with the Weavers, where both came up short several times. But with Faith’s continued presence as one of the general managers of Revelation, Faith finds her way on the list. Fuck that Aaron guy tho. - ERIK MAGNES & KRISSY LANG |
The Modern Marvel with his manager Krissy Lang debuted earlier this year, with Lang being an attention grabber, coupled with the powerful physique of Magnes. Both have been gaining steady forward momentum and could be much higher on the list next year. - TUCKER & TATE FARRIS |
The Farris boys came in later in the year and didn’t bring their sister so I’m putting them here because of that. Still, they made an impact… just not as much as Yara Yami did shortly after they showed up. - TERA TAYLOR |
The Cock came into a lot of fanfare and has already seen early success the only reason she’s so low on the list is she hasn’t had more matches within the company but… it’s clear the Cock is only going up. - VANESSA PAGE |
Vanessa Page has struggled to find her niche in CCW so far but looks to be working to figure that out from here. While she may be on the list now, in 2022 she may finally get the bigger spot she feels she deserves. - CHELLSEA |
Chellsea spent her year as both one of the co-owners and feuding Angel McMaster. But while she is not an active wrestler, she showed some heart in there with Angel McMaster getting her on this list. - BRENNAN DEVLIN |
Fuck this guy.
